Two Birds Cereals
Just before my trip to Spain the lovely ladies at Two Birds cereals contacted me and asked if I would like to try their breakfast boost mixes. This could not have been more aptly timed as I would be self catering in a villa in the middle of no where for 12 days following.
If you have dietary specific requirements, allergies or food intolerances, you will be in a pattern in your regular lifestyle and no what you can eat and where to find the items. Transport yourself out of the comfort zone or to an alternative house or hotel for a week, you are probably acutely aware of the difficulties you may come across. So to be able to go a little prepared is sometimes a life saver. I had my Genetic Supplements protein powder and was quite happy to know that breakfast would be covered if nothing else.
The boosts came in a bare super seed with bee pollen and a turmeric and chilli variety. Gluten free, dairy free and sugar free. Pretty much covering all bases.
The seed mix added a crunchy texture to my breakfast but I found there to be little in the way of flavour. I found myself adding Grape Tree foods cinnamon. The boosting properties of the seeds are brilliantly beneficial and would make an excellent addition to any smoothie bowl or shake.
I found the turmeric and chilli to be an amazing addition to a simple breakfast such as eggs on toast. The turmeric and chilli are both flavours that I am particularly fond of as it is.
There are limitless ways that you can incorporate these boosts into your daily routine and Two Birds are currently running a competition over on Instagram where you can share your creations to enter.
Check out the competition and definitely check out the products. Beautifully created with health in mind. They are especially convenient for holidays and breaks away as they are in a resealable packet. The care in the combinations exudes from the potential boosting properties of each ingredient.
Lets look at some of the ingredients that they chose to use –
